Our mission is to provide personalized, high-quality care on an as-needed or preventative basis.  We have created a practice that we believe in and choose for our own family members. Whether you are a long time devotee or a first time user of naturopathic medicine, we hope that your experience in our office helps you on the path towards better health.  There are six basic principles of naturopathic medicine:

  • First, Do No Harm
  • The Healing Power of Nature
  • Find the Cause
  • Doctor as Teacher
  • Treat the Whole Person
  • Prevention

Utilizing these principles appropriately and treating each person individually can be a more involved process than you may have encountered with other health care providers.  Evaluation may include physical exam and laboratory tests that reflect the body’s function, not just detect disease.  Our goal is to treat you as a whole person – mind, body, and spirit – and we use personal evaluations to design a program to address your particular needs.  If we are unable to address all of your health concerns, options will be discussed and we will refer you elsewhere if needed.

As holistic health care providers, we believe that health is not merely the absence of disease but a vibrant state of wellbeing.  The goal is to provide you with the tools you need to stimulate the body’s innate ability to heal and regain balance.  Natural therapies used in the office include diet modification, lifestyle change, exercise, herbs, nutritional supplements, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, naturopathic manipulation, and craniosacral therapy.

Because naturopathic medicine is individualized medicine, the initial office visit will last 90 minutes and consist primarily of gathering information so that an appropriate treatment plan can be devised.  A second visit will be scheduled approximately one to three weeks after the initial visit to discuss an individualized treatment plan.  This is also a good time to raise any concerns or introduce information that may have been forgotten during the initial visit.

If you have any questions or concerns, or if you are interested in scheduling an appointment, please call: (360) 878-8735.
